In order to practice web design, I created a web teaser that would lead a reader to my Mardi Gras 2012 magazine layout.

I decided to go with a flamboyant font to match the Mardi Gras mood. Again, I used the best picture on the wire and played it big. The lede of the actual story formed some nice leading text in the teaser.

If I was actually moving the magazine piece online I definitely think there was sufficient photo content for a slide show, so I created a slide show ref on the teaser as well.
