Chelsey Heath is a digital producer at KJZZ 91.5, the NPR affiliate in Phoenix. She has a background in SEO, digital news production, news analytics, copy editing and content editing.
Since she started at KJZZ, the digital team hit the all-time highest traffic to kjzz.org during an election year that also included a completely new CMS and site migration. She often collaborates with reporters on digital presentation, helps interns and new hires, and coordinates with NPR on sharing digital content.
You can see her writing work on her byline page, and she often contributes to the KJZZ Instagram. She also helps with visuals. Here are some of her favorites:
- Arizona’s I-17 mystery tree is decorated again in 2024
- Amazon Air delivery drones heading to Phoenix
- See inside the Arizona State Fair before it opens
- A glimpse inside the Wigwam Resort in Litchfield Park
She also copy edits student work at Cronkite News, a professional capstone program at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University, where she’s also an alum.
Along with her work in journalism, she is the marketing director at Justice Brothers Ranch & U-Pick during the citrus season, and enjoys spending her time in the Arizona sun with her chickens and dog.
Previously, she taught MCO 562: Search Engine Strategy in the Digital Audiences program at ASU and has worked at Trisolute News Dashboard, ASU News, azcentral.com and Arizona PBS.
